Pad printing
To carry out this technique, a metallic or plastic sheet is covered with a photosensitive emulsion. Thanks to a chemical process the desired image is low relief engraved. To follow, the sheet is covered with ink, swept with a blade and pressed with a silicon ink pad that soaks itself with the ink in the low relief engraving. The pad will be then be pressed down on the item.
